A granular cartridge for iron reduction.

This cartridge contains Birm, a standard iron reduction medium that is normally used in large backwashing iron filters. It can be used to remove small amounts of iron if the pH is sufficient (6.8 or higher) and the flow rate is kept low. This cartridge is not designed for whole house use, but it may be used for garden hose applications where the flow rate can be kept slow, or as part of a drinking water system. It is not regenerable.
